Weekend
Well today I am going to start my blog off by letting yall know that In the next few weeks you might get attacked my water guns, so heads up. A few of my brothers and I are fighting to win the gold in homecoming week and one of the events is a week long water gun fight. We are teamed up with the lovely ladies of ADPi and we will not lose. That being said the week is coming up and that usually means one thing… when Monday rolls around I hope I am still breathing and hopefully my brothers will fill me in on a what is going to be great weekend. For yall who are new to UNCC Thursday is the day that the big parties happen. So that is the first obstacle to make it past. Then you have Friday. Fridays are tricky there are many things that happen on Friday the can range from a small group of about 30 to 50 people hanging out or massive event with around 250 plus people. Saturday is the same as Thursday pretty much. This Sunday is super bowl Sunday which I can’t really go into right now. I was hoping to get a lot more sleep tonight, but yall know how it is. When about midnight comes around the phone starts going off wanting to watch a movies, and me being the nice guy that I am accepts the offer. So it is now about 3am. That means I get to see yall in like 6 hours! I am pretty pumped up. So I know I just kinda of rambled a bit, and it seems like I do not have a point to my blog. But I really do!! My point is that I hope everybody will go out and enjoy their weekend to the fullest because we have earned it by working hard. Have a great night as well.
Goodnight and Sweet dreams.

KA
In my blog today I will share a bit about my fraternity. I am a brother of the Kappa Alpha order. I live In the New KA house, we have had the house for about three weeks and have been working on it none stop to get it to meet the standards of the gentlemen of KA. We also have about 5 other houses that we can go hang out at around campus. KA is known to be the southern gentlemen and we strive to live up to that every day. Our chapter is the epsilon xi, The spiritual founder of KA is Robert E. Lee. Robert E. Lee was the Dean and Washington and lee where KA was founded in 1865.
Kappa Alpha is pretty active around Charlotte and on campus. We do a lot of charity events such has habitat for humanity, and also do many events such as the see-saw a thon to raise money for the MDA which is the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It is a pretty great thing. I had another blog already wrote but my computer so rudely turned off on me. I hope everyone has had a great day. It weather has been amazing. I finally got a chance to play golf and I am very rusty. My weekend was insane and I am amazed that I made it out of it alive. Today is Sunday and it has been a very relaxed day. I have just been cleaning up from the nights before.
Our KA house in just crazy, words cannot describe so of the things that goes on here. It is so much fun. I would not change it for anything.

Anit no thang
I have a southern accent! I do feel that it makes me a nicer person because of it. I do get called out on it a bit. Some people might think I am not as smart because of it. Also I talk slower, that also makes people feel like I am less intelligent than they are. People with southern accents are not automatically mean they better people but if you compare the accents with the personality and took a poll to find out how is nicer, the answer is clear. I have done quite a bit of traveling in my day and I have come to find out that no matter where you are at northern people are usually rude. It could be the way they talk or the tone of the voice that they use. But it me it just seems unfriendly to me. In Charlotte there are some many different accents and dialects. It is pretty amazing and a little hard to grasp the fact that we speck the same basic language when we speak so differently. With me am very soft spoken many southern speakin folks are. I seem to hold out my “I” sounds in my words. I would say the dialect that I have is a Carolina one. North Carolina and South Carolina have their own accent compared to the south and the rest of the Nation.
Were you live and what type of culture you live in plays a major role in the way speak. For example I basically grew up on the beach down here. I like a slow pace and a relaxed atmosphere. So I seem to talk slower. If you grew up in the North in a big city like NYC it is a lot more fasted paced and louder than sitting on the sandy shores of the Carolinas.

The not so Average, Average Week.
An average week for me might seem a bit out of control but I have come to be a master at the chaos. I will start out on Mondays. Depending on the Sunday before I can have two types of Mondays, one being pretty relaxing and getting my work done and ready for the week head or it could be waking up really late and in pain with the only thing on my mind is what and that I am hungry. Usually the Mondays go well because I have no class on that day so I can pretty much just spend time with my friends. I start Tuesdays early around 8am to get up and get ready for class. I get done with class around 1:45pm and usually get lunch and do my work. Tuesday nights I usually go out and have eventful nights with my KA brothers. Wednesdays are pretty chill I only have 2 classes, but unfortunately they start at 930am. The mornings are not too friendly when you have late nights. Wednesday night get kind of crazy. They are Similar to Tuesday but with much more people. So on Thursdays I get up really early and come to class to see all of yall which is not too bad. Thursday afternoon/ night are very interesting because of you that are new to Charlotte Thursday nights is when it is time to party. And Our Fraternity as some of the wildest “get together” around here. I enjoy Thursday night the most. Friday rolls around and during Friday I basically try to regroup and put the piece together about last night. Once I recover I might go out and get some dinner and relax, and then yes if the opportunity is there I do sometimes go out again. Saturdays are very similar to Thursdays besides to the part about classes. And last but not least Sunday. Sundays I wake up and go to Church and have lunch with all the guys after church.
Living in the Fraternity house is an adventure but I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have so much fun and already so many memoires here. Amazingly I still have time to get my work done on time with all of the excitement.

1st Blog
Hello classmates, in my blog I have decided to share a little about me. I am 20 years old from a small town in North Carolina called Asheboro. There is not much there but the State zoo I graduated from Asheboro High school in June of 2010 and then went off to the Army. I am about to finish my second year in the Army Reserves. My job or MOS in the army is a 68w. It is a combat medic. I went off to basic training for 10 weeks then went down to Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. Training was probably one of the hardest things I have done but I enjoyed it so much. Basically it was the most fun I never want to have again. I am also a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. It has been amazing. I have recently moved into the new Kappa Alpha house and so far so good. Living with all the brothers never has a duel moment. Spring rush is about to start so if any of you guys are interested in going Greek let me know. I strongly recommend at least coming out for the rush event and hanging out and getting free food. I look forward to getting to know yall throughout this semester and I feel like this class will be pretty good. I like nice long walks on the beach at sunset, nice romantic dinners by candle light and horseback riding in the grassy meadows.
